Saturday 28th January 2012 - 'Supper evening' at Cobbler's Dingle in aid of the Clock Restoration Fund in memory of Tom Howells. At 7.00pm for 7.30pm. Tickets £7 includes 2 course supper and glass of wine. Don and Jo would like to thank everyone who came or donated to the Supper Evening. Everybody gave most generously in every way possible, giving raffle prizes, bringing delicious puddings, and buying masses of raffle tickets. Thanks to everyone's generosity, £408 was raised towards the restoration of the clock in memory of Tom Howells.

Saturday 2nd June 2012 - Join us for Abdon's little Big Jubilee Lunch at 12.30pm Abdon Village Hall. We will get together to celebrate in usual Abdon style! You are invited to bring a contribution of food for a shared buffet plus your tipple of choice. Dress to impress!
Sunday 10th June - Afternoon tea in the churchyard from 3pm followed by Songs of Praise at 6pm.
Friday 29th June - NOT TO BE MISSED! A SUMMER CONCERT BY BEL CANTO AT ST MARGARET'S CHURCH, ABDON AT 7.30 P.M. ON 29TH JUNE. An all female "barber's shop" quartet from Bridgnorth who have sung their way to the finale of a choral music competition at the Albert Hall, will be in concert at St Margaret's Church, Abdon on 29th June. Some 18 years ago, four friends, Christine Briggs, Lindy Macdonald, Suzanne Millington and Jenny Davies met together for the pure enjoyment of making music. Thus was born "BEL CANTO". So followed a time of much laughter, musical experimentation and deepening of friendships, all of which are reflected in their unique blend of close harmony singing. Their repertoire includes a diverse mixture of folk, barbershop, classical, jazz and madrigals. Audiences in this country and abroad have derived great pleasure from the melodious magic of their performances. Tickets for Bell Canto will cost £6.00 to include light refreshments (in the churchyard if it's fine) and will be on sale in early May. Please phone 01746 712572, 01746 712498, or Abdon PCC members.

Saturday 3rd November - Richard Brown FRPS will be showing Audio Visual Sequences including "The Little Red Box" in Abdon Village hall at 7.30 pm ploughman's supper. Ticket prices to be announced later. Richard is an internationally renowned photographer and judge. A very special evening.
