August 2011 - New telephone box kneeler - thank you to Dora who has created a new kneeler for the church commemorating the return of the Abdon telephone box. 

August 2011 - Grant awarded to Abdon Village Hall - Shropshire Grass Roots has awarded a grant of £2,000 to Abdon Village Hall to enable us to purchase new heaters. 

July 2011 - Belated Royal Wedding barbeque - on 2nd July we raised £220.47 for the Midlands Air Ambulance at our belated Royal Wedding barbeque. 

May 2011 - Abdon Village Hall Committee - on 19th May at the Village HAll AGM the new Management Committee was elected.  

May 2011 - Whalebone Concert - on 14th May we raised £118 for Help For Heroes at the Whalebone Concert in Abdon Village Hall.  A big thankyou to everyone who took part in a very enjoyable event.

April 2011 - Return of the Abdon telephone box - on 17th April the Abdon community gathered to celebrate the return of the red telephone box to Abdon.  More...
